Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our Buying team, focusing on Luxury Ready-to-Wear and Womenswear within a high-volume, multi-brand environment.

The role involves planning, sourcing, and purchasing to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability. You will influence fashion-forward assortments, drive sell-through, and support the retail strategy in a luxury market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5-8 years of end-to-end buying experience in luxury retail.
• Minimum 3 years dedicated experience in Luxury Ready-to-Wear, Womenswear in high-volume, multi-brand environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and select product ranges in line with demand, market trends, budgets and sell-through targets in collaboration with the DMM/GMM.
• Execute purchasing activities according to approved brand purchase plans.
• Monitor stock levels across stores and coordinate with Planning to optimize inventory.
• Review weekly sales performance and recommend corrective buying strategies.
• Analyze buy feedback and sales data to decide continuation or liquidation of lines.
• Analyze market trends, seasonal demand and competitor activity to inform buying decisions.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and principals and negotiate terms where applicable.
• Prepare periodic performance and trend reports for internal stakeholders.
