Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts in Dubai seeks a Director of Rooms and Residences to lead the Rooms Division and hotel-managed residences. You will oversee Front Office, Concierge, Royal Service, Housekeeping, Laundry and related services, ensuring a flawless guest and resident experience aligned with the brand’s standards.

You will manage profitability, cost control, asset care and colleague engagement while delivering the Raffles experience across hotel and residential services.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of luxury hotel experience in Rooms Division leadership.
• Proven experience overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Experience in branded residences, serviced residences or comparable owner and resident relations.
• Ability to interpret operational service agreements and coordinate with Finance, Engineering and property reps.
• Proven ability to lead large multicultural teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest and resident expectations and service recovery.
• Strong financial and operational judgement including budgeting and cost control.
• Experience using property-management systems, preferably Opera Cloud or similar.
• Excellent communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rooms Division and residences services, ensuring profitability, service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, Royal Service and related teams to deliver timely room readiness and guest requests.
• Review room status, defects and prepare for inventory readiness with Engineering and Housekeeping.
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, staffing, productivity and quality standards.
• Develop SOPs, monitor feedback and drive service quality audits across the property.
• Lead recruitment, development and performance reviews for department heads.
