Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a Recreation professional to contribute to the smooth operation of the Sports & Recreations department and to ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will support program delivery, safety compliance, and collaborative teamwork across hotel operations.

The role emphasizes guest engagement, activity supervision, and contributing to revenue through well-run recreation programs at Anantara’s luxury resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recreation.
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and able to assist guests professionally.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and the ability to respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and participate in or supervise recreational activities.
• Ability to work effectively with other staff members.
• Excellent English; additional languages can be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of recreational equipment and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department to achieve the highest guest satisfaction.
• Lead the implementation of health and safety codes in sports and leisure activities, and manage children’s programs.
• Promote spa offerings to maximize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.
• Drive revenues for the department.
• Ensure outsourced service providers maintain maintenance standards.
