Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Attendant to ensure every guest room meets our high standards of cleanliness. You will follow SOPs, manage linen and supplies, and assist with safety and security procedures to protect guests and staff.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is a plus, and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Ability to make beds, clean bathrooms, replenish guest amenities, and handle laundry.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic communication skills in English or the local language.
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and carry supplies throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of hotel safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Guest Rooms are properly cleaned in line with the hotel SOPs.
• Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe use of chemicals.
• Maintain linen inventory, uniforms, and related records.
• Process lost and found items and maintain appropriate logs.
• Monitor par levels of linen, towels and uniforms.
• Suggest measures to minimize wastage of materials and amenities.
• Maintain hotel security awareness and report incidents to management.
• Meet VIP guest requirements and special requests.
• Ensure guests' special requests are fulfilled and delivered on time.
• Clean and care for all equipment used and report any damage.
• Remove room service trays and update room status reports.
• Report suspicious persons or activities to housekeeping management.
• Perform related duties and any assigned projects.
