Job summary

Amali Properties, a luxury real estate developer in the UAE, seeks a Design Manager to oversee design across multiple ultra-luxury projects from concept to construction. You will coordinate between architects, interior designers, engineers and consultants to drive on-time delivery with high standards.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Architecture or Design Management, 8–10 years of UAE luxury project experience, and strong knowledge of local authority processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Design Management.
• 8–10 years of experience in design management, preferably with real estate luxury developments in the UAE.
• Proven track record in managing design for high-rise, residential or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor design activities across multiple projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Track design deliverables, milestones and approvals to ensure adherence to programmes.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, landscape consultants, engineers and specialists.
• Support the Senior Director - Design in driving project progress and resolving issues.
• Review design submissions and drawings for completeness, consistency and coordination.
• Coordinate with authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
