The First Group Hospitality in Dubai seeks an Executive Pastry Chef to lead the hotel’s pastry and bakery operations, creating innovative desserts, breads, and baked goods while mentoring a dedicated team.

You will develop seasonal menus, oversee quality and presentation, manage costs, and ensure HACCP compliance, collaborating with F&B and events teams to deliver stellar guest experiences at weddings and banquets.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or equivalent.
5–8 years pastry experience with 2–3 years in a leadership role in luxury hotels.
Strong knowledge of modern pastry techniques and sugar artistry.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Strong financial acumen with cost control and inventory management.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

Plan, prepare, and oversee all pastry and bakery items for restaurants, banquets, in-room dining, and events.
Develop seasonal menus and signature desserts.
Ensure pastry products meet quality, portion, and presentation guidelines.
Lead, train, and mentor the pastry team; manage labor costs.
Coordinate with purchasing and cost control to source ingredients.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance.
Monitor budgets, recipes, and waste to ensure profitability.
Interact with guests during events to showcase pastry creations.
