Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Commis II to assist the chefs in daily kitchen operations at our luxury hotel on Al Maryah Island.

You will work under senior chefs, maintain high standards of food preparation, hygiene, and teamwork. Candidates should have at least 1 year of luxury-brand kitchen experience and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with a luxury brand.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to standard procedures, recipe cards, and instructions from senior chefs.
• Support the Commis I, Demi Chef de Partie, and Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure workstations, equipment, and utensils are kept clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Maintain basic knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Receive, check, and properly store deliveries as instructed.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to teamwork.
• Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned by senior kitchen staff or management.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.
