Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to supervise daily housekeeping, ensuring guest rooms, corridors, and areas meet luxury standards. You will guide colleagues, conduct inspections, coordinate guest requests, and support guest satisfaction.

You will allocate room assignments, train staff, monitor progress, and collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure readiness and timely service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or related discipline is preferred.
• 2–3 years of housekeeping experience with supervisory or team‑leading exposure.
• Strong knowledge of guest‑room cleaning, room inspections, linen management, chemical handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping colleagues while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations across assigned guest rooms, floors, corridors, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Allocate daily room assignments and special tasks according to occupancy levels, guest movements, and priorities.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and safety.
• Conduct team briefings and communicate room priorities, VIP arrivals, and guest requests.
• Train and guide Room Attendants in cleaning procedures and luxury service standards.
• Monitor room-cleaning progress and update room status for timely release.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry on readiness and guest requests.
• Ensure VIP rooms and personalized amenities are prepared accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and follow up on service recovery.
• Report maintenance defects and safety concerns identified during inspections.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure proper usage and inventory control.
• Maintain pantries, linen rooms, and back-of-house spaces in order.
• Monitor productivity and escalate concerns as needed.
• Prepare daily reports and handover notes for peak periods.
