Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, Abu Dhabi, seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping tasks, ensure room cleanliness, and coordinate with Front Office. You will supervise Attendants, monitor productivity, and uphold health and safety standards in a luxury resort environment.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience in hotels, supervisory skills, and a guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Good communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and completion of assignments.
• Ensure rooms are released on time and communicate room status with Front Office.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and room defects.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, guest amenities, and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling of lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Train, coach, and support team members in maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
• Assist the Housekeeping management team with daily operations and departmental requirements.
