Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily activities of the housekeeping team and ensure room presentation meets hotel standards.

You will allocate tasks, monitor productivity, report maintenance issues, and coach staff to uphold cleanliness, health, and safety policies while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Weekend shifts and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Housekeeping supervisory or team-leading roles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Good communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and completion of assignments.
• Ensure rooms are released on time and communicate room status with Front Office.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and room defects.
• Train, coach, and support team members in maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
