Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas in line with our luxury standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, bed making, replenishing amenities, operating cleaning equipment safely, and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly, while delivering warm hospitality and attention to detail to every guest experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
• Ability to make beds, clean bathrooms, replenish guest amenities, and handle laundry.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic communication skills in English or the local language.
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and carry supplies throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of hotel safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Guest Rooms are cleaned in line with SOPs.
• Maintain linen inventory, uniforms, and other items.
• Ensure records are maintained and logs updated.
• Handle lost and found articles properly and report any damage.
• Remove room service trays and make room status reports.
• Record any suspicious activity and report to management.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
