Job summary

Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach seeks a professional Waiter/Waitress to deliver attentive luxury dining across à la carte and buffet settings. You will welcome guests, explain menus, take accurate orders, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure flawless service in a premium environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of food & beverage experience, excellent English communication, POS proficiency, and a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of food & beverage service experience in luxury settings.
• Experience in four- or five-star luxury hotels or premium dining venues.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage seating so they feel valued from arrival to departure.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery of courses.
• Maintain impeccable dining area presentation and hygiene standards.
• Provide personalized service and suggest menu items or pairings as appropriate.
