Job summary

Ennismore is seeking a skilled Painter for Rixos Premium Dubai JBR to maintain interior and exterior finishes to the highest standards. The role requires hands-on craftsmanship, teamwork, and a guest-focused approach within a luxury hospitality environment.

The successful candidate will perform surface prep, painting, and finishing work, adhere to safety standards, and support cosmetic upkeep of common areas while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional painting experience.
• Experience in commercial, hospitality, or large-scale facilities.
• Proficient in surface preparation, paint application, and finish work.
• Familiar with WHMIS and OH&S workplace safety standards.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, and power painting equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Professional, guest-focused demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high-quality painting service.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and sealing.
• Apply paints using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Match colors for touch-ups and ensure uniform finishes.
• Complete painting work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper storage of materials.
• Train junior team members when needed.
• Keep records of time, tasks, and materials used.
