Job summary

Rixos Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a skilled Painter to maintain guest rooms, villas, public areas, restaurants and corridors to five‑star standards. You will prepare surfaces, sand and prime, apply emulsions and other finishes, and protect furniture and fittings during painting works.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in a luxury hotel, knowledge of UAE HSE requirements, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Painter, preferably within a five-star hotel, luxury resort, or similar hospitality environment.
• Experience in hotel/resort maintenance and refurbishment projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and safe handling of paints and chemicals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorative works in guest rooms, villas, public areas, restaurants, corridors, offices and external areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks/holes, removing old paint and applying primers.
• Apply emulsions, enamels, textured, epoxy and other approved paint finishes as required.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures and fittings from paint splashes and damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area during and after painting works.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and rectify accordingly.
• Follow daily work schedules and safety procedures with the Engineering team.
