Job summary

RTC-1 Employment Services is seeking a Kitchen Technician for a 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and related systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires hands-on experience with kitchen equipment, strong understanding of health and fire safety, and the ability to document repairs and coordinate installations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Equipment Technician in hotels, hospitality, or commercial kitchens.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and gas systems.
• Knowledge of health, safety, fire-safety, food hygiene and manufacturer maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, appliances, refrigeration, gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns promptly, including burners, valves, thermostats, electrical connections, control panels, and refrigeration units.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure all kitchen equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimum downtime.
• Support equipment installation, relocation, commissioning, inspections, and testing, while maintaining repair records and critical spare-parts availability.
