Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Engineering team. You will maintain electrical systems across the hotel, ensuring safe, efficient operation and guest satisfaction in line with Rixos standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years’ experience in hospitality settings. Strong English, independent work ethic, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance.
• Good English communication skills.

Rixos Al Mairid is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Technician to join our Engineering team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems across the property while delivering safe, efficient, and guest-focused service in line with Rixos standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems across the hotel complex
• Ensure all electrical works are executed to the highest professional and safety standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and installations
• Support emergency response procedures and ensure full compliance with fire & life safety standards
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure proper stock control of materials
• Ensure adherence to Rixos Policies & Procedures and ISO standards (Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety)
• Contribute to energy‑saving and sustainability initiatives
• Work collaboratively with all departments to support smooth hotel operations
• Participate in task force assignments and support special projects when required
