Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Experience Maker (GEM)-Russian Speaking at Six Senses The Palm, Dubai. This role involves ensuring that guests receive a memorable and personalized experience by attending to their needs and preferences.

The ideal candidate will hold a hospitality diploma and have over a year of experience in luxury hotels. Proficient in both English and Russian, you will coordinate guest activities and ensure all requirements are met, maintaining high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven results in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels.
• More than one year’s experience in a similar hotel operational role.
• Knowledge of local language and customs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure room preparation according to guests’ preferences.
• Notify departments of guest arrivals and preferences.
• Gather guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Communicate daily events and schedules to guests.
• Upsell resort facilities and activities.

Skills

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Excellent command of spoken Russian

Knowledge of hospitality standards

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

Minimum hospitality diploma/degree
