Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Fitness Supervisor to lead gym operations in a luxury hospitality setting. You will supervise fitness staff, ensure high service standards, and drive member engagement.

The role requires at least 3 years in a supervisory fitness position, a recognized fitness certification, and strong leadership, coaching, and sales awareness to promote memberships and wellness programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or senior fitness role in luxury hospitality or wellness clubs.
Certified fitness professional (e.g., REPs, ACE, ISSA).
Strong knowledge of gym operations, fitness programs, and wellness trends.
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage schedules, equipment, and service delivery in a high-end environment.
Basic financial awareness with understanding of membership sales and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the Gym and fitness facilities, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and fully operational.
Monitor the condition of gym equipment, coordinating with Engineering for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently upheld.
Oversee scheduling of group classes, personal training, and guest sessions.
Support the Wellness Manager with operational reporting and audits.
Welcome and engage with guests, providing professional advice and support on fitness programs.
Develop personalized training sessions when required and promote membership packages.
