Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Fitness Supervisor to lead gym operations in a luxury hospitality setting. You will supervise fitness staff, ensure high service standards, and drive member engagement.

The role requires at least 3 years in a supervisory fitness position, a recognized fitness certification, and strong leadership, coaching, and sales awareness to promote memberships and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or senior fitness role in luxury hospitality or wellness clubs.
• Certified fitness professional (e.g., REPs, ACE, ISSA).
• Strong knowledge of gym operations, fitness programs, and wellness trends.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, equipment, and service delivery in a high-end environment.
• Basic financial awareness with understanding of membership sales and KPIs.

Operations & Standards

Guest Experience

Team Supervision

• Supervise Fitness Instructors, Receptionists, and Attendants during shifts.
• Ensure staff follow SOPs, grooming standards, and service protocols.
• Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to improve guest engagement and technical delivery.
• Assist with roster planning to ensure coverage during peak hours.

Business & Sales Support

• Drive sales of memberships, personal training, and fitness-related packages.
• Monitor performance of instructors and track daily usage and class participation rates.
• Support retail opportunities (fitness merchandise, supplements, etc.) were relevant.
• Assist in executing promotions, seasonal offers, and special events.
