Job summary

The First Group Hospitality seeks a dedicated fitness professional to deliver luxury fitness experiences for guests and members in our upscale properties. You will lead group classes and personal training, design personalized programs, and provide guidance on exercise techniques, posture, and safe equipment use.

With 2+ years in luxury fitness or hospitality, you will engage guests, monitor progress, and upsell memberships and wellness packages while adhering to health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury fitness, wellness club, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, training methods, and gym equipment.
• Certifications as a fitness professional (REPs UAE, ACE, ISSA, NASM, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and wellness activities in line with guest needs.
• Provide professional guidance on exercise techniques, posture, and safe equipment usage.
• Design customized fitness programs for guests and members to achieve their wellness goals.
• Conduct fitness assessments and consultations.
• Welcome and engage with guests, creating a motivating and positive environment.
• Monitor guest performance and adjust programs as needed for optimal results.
• Provide advice on nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle (within scope of qualifications).
• Handle guest queries or concerns promptly and elevate to the Fitness Supervisor if needed.
• Ensure gym floor and equipment are safe, clean, and guest-ready always.
• Report maintenance issues immediately and assist with equipment checks.
• Support the Fitness Supervisor with class scheduling and attendance monitoring.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols in all fitness facilities.
• Promote and upsell personal training sessions, memberships, and wellness packages.
• Encourage guest participation in group classes and events.
• Support sales of fitness-related retail items (e.g., apparel, supplements, wellness products).
• Participate in seasonal promotions and wellness initiatives.
