Job summary

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, located in Nation Tower on the Corniche, seeks a dedicated Food & Beverage professional for a full-time, non-management role. You will assist with guest needs, serve food and beverages, clear and reset tables, and ensure superior service in a luxury hotel environment.

Two years of related luxury-hotel experience preferred; Mediterranean cuisine experience a plus. Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a luxury hotel.
• Mediterranean cuisine experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve guest needs by assisting with food and beverages from kitchen or bar and completing guest requests.
• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to the St. Regis Standards to ensure superior service.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software.
• Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
