IHG Hotels & Resorts invites applications for an F&B Attendant at our Ras Al Khaimah property, part of the InterContinental family. The role focuses on warm, personalised guest service within a luxury dining environment and involves guiding guests through Japanese-inspired menu offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an F&B Attendant or Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Experience in a Japanese restaurant or knowledge of Japanese cuisine is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of food and beverage service standards, including table service and guest engagement.
• Strong communication skills in English, with a warm, confident and professional approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to provide personalised service in an intimate dining environment.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests warmly and providing attentive, personalised service throughout their dining experience.
• Presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and offering recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Developing a good understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients and dining traditions to confidently guide guests through the menu.
• Ensuring food and beverages are served accurately, efficiently and according to our luxury service standards.
• Preparing and maintaining the restaurants dining areas, ensuring cleanliness, proper table settings and attention to detail.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests to create memorable dining experiences.
• Working closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and supporting service recovery when required.
• Following food safety, hygiene and responsible beverage service standards.
