Job summary

InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a Barista to craft espresso drinks, teas and beverages with exceptional presentation. You will build genuine guest relationships, upsell signature items, and support a luxury dining experience in a dynamic, five‑star environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in similar roles, strong English communication, and a passion for service. You’ll collaborate with the F&B team to drive guest satisfaction and revenue while upholding hygiene

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a similar role, ideally in a high‑end environment.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for delivering service excellence.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso beverages, teas and specialty drinks.
• Deliver exceptional service by building guest relationships and anticipating preferences.
• Promote and upsell signature beverages and menu items to maximise revenue.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages and foods to tailor recommendations.
• Ensure consistent beverage quality, presentation and service standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and barista equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Receive, store and rotate inventory while upholding food safety standards.
• Comply with HACCP, hygiene and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
• Build guest loyalty by recognizing returning guests and promoting dining experiences.
