Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Barista for Noor Lounge. You will master the outlet concept, prepare a wide range of coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages, and present each drink to guests with precision.

You will train colleagues, maintain standards, and ensure flawless service from guest arrival to departure. You will support the outlet team with beverage creation, inventory checks, and adherence to MOHG service standards, while communicating in English and Arabic to delight

Qualifications

High School qualification or equivalent preferred.
Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.
2+ years’ experience as bartender in a luxury hotel/resort; 3 years’ experience as bartender in a high-end bar preferred.
Verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

Understand the outlet concept and menu; explain to guests.
Mix and match ingredients to create drinks; garnish and describe characteristics.
Interact with guests to recommend drinks when appropriate.
Handle guest complaints professionally and report to managers.
Set up daily bar counter; ensure mise en place and equipment are prepared.
Prepare beverages to be served in good order; oversee beverage quality.
