Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is seeking a Banquet Supervisor (Arabic Speaker) to lead luxury banquet operations in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee event teams, ensure flawless execution, and act as the primary contact for Arabic-speaking guests.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of supervisory experience in luxury hospitality, be fluent in Arabic and English, and demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and exceptional guest relations during high-volume events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in Banquets, F&B, or Events Operations within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events (conferences, weddings, galas, VIP events).
• Ensure all function rooms meet BEOs, standards, and client specs.
• Conduct pre-shift and pre-event briefings documenting event details and priorities.
• Monitor service delivery for consistency and professionalism.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, Housekeeping, Events, and Sales teams for seamless events.
• Maintain equipment, AV, and décor as required.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to banquet staff.
