Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings, ensuring flawless execution and luxury service standards.

You will coordinate with Sales, Events, Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping and Engineering to meet guest requirements and drive guest satisfaction, with supervision across banquet staff and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in banquet operations or food and beverage service within a luxury hotel or upscale environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in banquet operations is essential.
• Experience handling weddings, corporate functions, conferences, and large-scale events is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of banquet service standards, event setups, food & beverage operations, and guest service procedures.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing all banquet operations for weddings, conferences, and events.
• Ensure all events align with BEOs, hotel standards, and guest expectations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Events, Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping and Engineering teams.
• Monitor event setup, service, and presentation to maintain luxury standards.
• Lead pre-event briefings and supervise teams to address operational challenges.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences in line with luxury service standards.
