Job summary

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Pool & Beach Attendant to deliver warm, attentive service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our pool and beach areas. This role focuses on guest comfort, safety, and seamless operation in a luxury resort environment.

You will greet guests, set up beds and towels, monitor facilities, and collaborate with teams to ensure memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or vocational hospitality training.
• 1–3 years experience as Pool & Beach Attendant or similar guest service role in 4–5 star hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of hospitality service standards and safety procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical fitness for outdoor work; ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic and English advantageous).
• Experience in Middle Eastern hospitality settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally on arrival and departure.
• Respond promptly to guest requests with empathy.
• Set up beach beds, cabanas, sunbeds, umbrellas, towels.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized pool/beach areas.
• Restock towels and amenities; manage inventory.
• Store umbrellas and equipment properly in evenings.
• Monitor safety and report hazards to management.
• Follow all policies and grooming standards; attend trainings.
• Assist other departments to ensure seamless operations.
