Job summary

Rixos Premium Dubai, part of Ennismore, is seeking a skilled AC Technician to join its facilities team. You will maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, coordinating with contractors, and keeping logs. The role requires one year of hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting, and ability to work in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in general maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for issues.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of premises, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Install, service, and repair air conditioning units (split, window, central AC, chillers).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Monitor system performance and adjust settings for efficiency.
• Maintain and repair furniture, fixtures, and infrastructure.
• Ensure proper cleaning of filters, coils, and ducts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain logs and inventory.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
