Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team at Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island. You will perform repair and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, record logs, and support engineering operations to ensure guest comfort.

You should have a Diploma/Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration, 2+ years in hotel or resort maintenance, and solid knowledge of central AC and split units. Strong troubleshooting skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• 2+ years of similar experience in hotel or resort maintenance.
• Knowledge of central AC systems and split units.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes repair and maintenance works of HVAC equipment and systems in the hotel.
• Records daily logs of critical equipment (chillers, FAHU’s, AHU’s) ensuring proper operation.
• Assist supervisors/ administrator in filing and documentation from responsible areas.
• Attends to maintenance, repair and troubleshoot of HVAC equipment and systems, such as FAHU’s, AHU’s, FCU’s, Exhaust Systems, Ventilation systems etc.
• Understand the hotel operation and be flexible with work schedules and timing, extend support in special occasions.
• Constructive feedbacks and updates to the seniors.
• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
• Assists Engineering Supervisors/ store in-charges to prepare spare parts lists for the any ventilation & air conditioning equipment.
• Participates in Energy conservation Programme.
• Ensures that the Plant Room, Workshop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
• Assist the team members whenever required.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Reports to the Duty Engineer/engineering supervisor/ Asst. Chief engineer.
• Build and maintain good relations within Engineering and other departments.
• Interacts and cooperates with guests and outside contractors as directed.
• Provide additional/ specialized services whenever requested.
• Attend on job / off job trainings when assigned.
• Follow the department and hotel policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere the hotel safety, risk management and emergency policies and procedures.
