Job summary

SO/ Uptown Dubai is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to support events, meetings, and guest experiences in Dubai. You will manage AV systems, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure flawless execution of presentations and performances.

The role requires at least 2 years in luxury AV operations, strong technical skills, and excellent English communication. Candidates should be prepared for shifts including weekends and special events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional AV operations experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event environment.
• Proficiency with professional AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, and events.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, entertainment events, and special functions with precision.
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, video systems, and LED displays during live events to ensure top quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of AV equipment for reliability and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly for VIP guests and events.
• Coordinate with Events, Banquets, IT, and Engineering teams to meet technical requirements.
