Job summary

ENOC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the lubrication oils and greases laboratory operations. The role involves sampling, maintaining a clean lab, managing retention samples, and ensuring timely chemical supplies under QA/QC and HSE guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School certificate or apprenticeship in a laboratory and 1–2 years of experience in a lubricants blending plant, working within strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School certificate or apprenticeship in laboratory.
• 1–2 years experience preferably in lubricants blending plant.

Responsibilities

• Draws samples of raw material, packaging material and finished products as per the directives of the lab chemist and the QA/QC Manager.
• Maintains the laboratory and laboratory equipment/apparatus in a absolutely clean condition at all times.
• Ensures proper storage and easy recall of the laboratory retension samples.
• Ensures the adequate supply of laboratory chemicals is available for testing by replenishment from the store at proper intervals.
• Assists in ensuring minimum batch release time.
• Participates in the implementation of the HSE policy of the company and follow safe working practises across the plant. Supports the laboratory management system.
• Other Responsibilities as per Company's Rules and Delegation of Authority Manual.
