Job summary

BxT Trading, based in Dubai, seeks an experienced LPG Trader to develop and manage physical and paper LPG trading opportunities with emphasis on commercial performance and shipping economics.

The role requires autonomy, deep market knowledge, and ability to integrate freight economics into trading decisions. Close collaboration with shipbrokers and internal teams is essential.

Candidates should have a minimum 3 years front-office LPG trading experience and a strong network of LPG counterparties.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline as listed.
• Minimum 3 years of proven front-office LPG trading experience.
• Deep understanding of physical LPG markets, global trade flows, pricing, arbitrage and fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of LPG shipping and chartering, vessel selection and freight economics.
• Experience integrating freight economics into trading decisions and risk assessment.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Trade physical LPG cargoes across spot and term markets, identifying profitable opportunities.
• Develop and manage LPG trading strategies across physical and paper markets with clear risk accountability.
• Identify and monetize cargo optionality across locations, timing, specs and logistics.
• Assess LPG fundamentals, trade flows and regional arbitrage to develop actionable views.
• Coordinate with shipowners, brokers and internal teams to negotiate freight solutions.
• Ensure full economics of trades including freight, terminal costs and operational risks.
