Job summary

BxT, based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced LPG Trader to lead physical and paper LPG trading with a high degree of autonomy. You will develop trading strategies, assess market fundamentals and actively manage chartering and freight economics to optimize P&L.

The successful candidate combines deep LPG market knowledge with strong shipping expertise and the ability to operate across global markets, reporting into senior trading leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of proven front-office LPG trading experience in a major energy company, trading house, or similar environment.
• Deep understanding of physical LPG markets, global trade flows, pricing structures, arbitrage economics and market fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of LPG shipping and chartering, including vessel selection, freight markets, voyage economics and demurrage.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel and operate autonomously in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Trade physical LPG cargoes across spot and term markets, identifying profitable opportunities.
• Develop and manage LPG trading strategies across physical and paper markets with risk controls.
• Identify and monetize optionality across cargoes, locations, timing, specs and logistics.
• Assess LPG fundamentals, trade flows, pricing, arbitrage and regional economics to form actionable views.
• Coordinate with operations, risk, and shipping to ensure efficient execution and optimized portfolio.
