Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee LPG tanker vessel scheduling and dispatch, ensuring on-time deliveries and efficient routes.

Responsibilities include monitoring vessel performance, fuel use, and speed to cut costs, plus coordinating maintenance and dry-docking to keep the fleet in top condition while complying with ISM/ISPS and environmental rules. A Class 1/2 CoC is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Operations, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in fleet management, LPG or oil & gas shipping preferred.
• Valid Class 1 (Chief Officer) or Class 2 (Second Officer) Unlimited CoC advantageous.
• Proficiency in maritime safety regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL) and vessel operations.
• UAE Driving Licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily scheduling and dispatch of LPG tanker vessels to ensure efficient movement locally and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor vessel performance, including fuel consumption, speed, and operational efficiency, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage vessel maintenance schedules and coordinate dry-docking and repairs to ensure fleet compliance and operational readiness.
• Ensure strict adherence to all international maritime regulations, safety standards (ISM, ISPS), and environmental protection policies.
