Job summary

Aertssen Machinery Services LTD in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a highly organized Logistics Teamleader to coordinate and manage transportation, import/export, and logistics activities for our equipment and materials. You will work with freight forwarders, customs agents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, proven logistics coordination experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain operations.
• Familiar with import/export processes, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Experience in the Middle East region is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete logistics process for equipment and spare parts from order intake to delivery and closure.
• Coordinate transportation activities ensuring cost-effective and timely movement locally and internationally.
• Prepare logistics plans, obtain quotations, create orders, monitor execution and tracking.
• Maintain accurate logistics records in the logistics database and D365 system.
• Coordinate customs clearance and manage import/export documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, transporters, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth operations.
• Conduct transportation inspections, verify lashing plans and delivery documentation.
• Monitor logistics costs and assist in budget control per company guidelines.
• Support project mobilization/demobilization and resolve logistics-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes while adhering to QHSE standards.
