The Logistics & Quality Coordinator is a hands-on, warehouse-based role responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing and dispatching goods for the UAE operation. The role ensures every shipment is checked against its documents and quality standards, stock is accurately recorded and correctly stored, and orders leave the warehouse complete, on time and in the right condition. The main duties and responsibilities are:
Physically receive inbound import containers and local deliveries. Check quantities and condition against packing lists, invoices and purchase orders, and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Logistics Manager – Import. Coordinate delivery and collection schedules with freight forwarders, couriers and 3PL drivers, and prepare outbound shipments with the correct documentation.
Inspect incoming, outgoing and returned goods, materials and packaging for defects, damage or non-conformities. Place non‑conforming stock on hold, record findings in QC reports and share them with the relevant teams. Liaise closely with the QC team in KL on new product launches, quality standards and training.
Maintain stock levels of kitting and packing materials, raise replenishment requests on time and track consumption. Carry out regular cycle counts and coordinate physical inventory counts, investigating and reporting any variances.
Keep storage areas organised, clean and safe for efficient material handling. Ensure every stock item and location is correctly labelled and that products are placed in their designated locations. Apply FIFO/FEFO principles to minimise expiry and write-offs. Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all health and safety procedures.
Receive and inspect returned goods, determine whether they are fit for resale, rework or disposal, and update the GRN in the system. Coordinate with MENA warehouse teams on the issuance and approval of scrap forms.
Work closely with the Materials team on new product launches and Bill of Material updates, ensuring kitting and packing materials are ready ahead of each launch.
Record all receipts, stock movements, dispatches and returns in the ERP/WMS in real time, and maintain accurate, auditable records of shipped and received items.
Work closely with order pickers, packers and the wider logistics team to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently and on time.
