Job summary

Meraki Integrated Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks a proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee material deliveries, transportation, inventory movement, and site logistics for timely production and project execution.

You will coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, and suppliers, track shipments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with UAE requirements while optimizing delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, or material movement.
• Experience in façade, glass, aluminium, construction, or building materials industry preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation planning, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and delivery documentation.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, customs clearance, and freight forwarding advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems such as Xpedeon ERP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation, delivery, and distribution of façade materials including glass and aluminium profiles.
• Plan and monitor material deliveries to factories, warehouses, and project sites according to project schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, project teams, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Track shipments, delivery schedules, material dispatches, and proof of delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding material readiness, delivery dates, and shipment status.
• Maintain logistics records, delivery notes, material transfer documents, and inventory movement reports.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with warehouse teams to avoid shortages and delays.
• Arrange local transportation and support import/export shipments, customs clearance, and freight forwarding as needed.
• Verify delivery documents against purchase orders and material requests.
• Coordinate urgent material requirements and resolve transportation or delivery-related issues.
• Ensure proper handling, loading, unloading, and transportation of materials to prevent damage.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and UAE logistics requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports for management.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or inventory management systems like Xpedeon ERP software.

Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple deliveries and meet tight project deadlines.

Knowledge of UAE logistics procedures and local transportation requirements.
