Job summary

GENESIS Executive Search is recruiting a Logistics Assistant for a multinational logistics and supply chain company based in Dubai, UAE. The role involves independent planning of import/export orders, customer coordination in the chemical sector, and managing tank-container logistics. UAE experience is a bonus and immediate joiners are preferred.

Training will cover the global flow of goods in chemicals and overseas logistics, with a growth-oriented environment and an international team setting.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of ISO Tank industry experience or relevant shipping/logistics experience.
• Basic knowledge of logistics processes and documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• UAE work experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute import and export orders independently.
• Communicate with customers in the chemical industry.
• Manage tank containers and related operations.

Our client is a multinational logistics and supply chain company looking to recruit a young Logistics Assistant to meet the below requirement and job responsibilities. This role is a permanent role and based in Dubai. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Independent planning and execution of import and export orders.
• Clarifications and correspondence with customers in the chemical industry.
• Control of tank containers.
• Cooperation with shipping companies, intermodal providers and various service providers in tank container logistics.
• Documentation and issuance of bills of lading.
• Notification and invoicing of import and export shipments.

Candidate Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in the ISO Tank industry , or at least relevant experience in theshipping and logistics industry.
• Basic knowledge of logistics processes and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• UAE experience would be an advantage.
