Al Masaood is seeking an experienced Local Implementation Manager to drive readiness and adoption for a large SAP transformation in Abu Dhabi. You will bridge business needs with the SAP Programme Team, ensuring regulatory alignment, process standardization, and successful go-live planning.

You will lead workshops, training, data readiness, testing, and change management, coordinating stakeholders across functions to deliver a smooth SAP rollout and sustained post-go-live adoption.

Qualificações

• At least one full SAP rollout from design to hypercare in LIM or similar role.
• Experience as Local Implementation Manager, SAP Functional Consultant, or similar.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP SD, SAP VSS, SAP C4C desirable.

We are looking for an experienced Local Implementation Manager (LIM) to play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation program that will shape the future of our automotive operations.

Job Purpose:

The Local Implementation Manager (LIM) plays a critical role in driving business readiness and adoption for a major SAP transformation program. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders and the SAP Programme Team, the LIM ensures operational requirements, regulatory obligations, and business objectives are fully aligned throughout the implementation journey.

This role is responsible for coordinating business requirements, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, data readiness, and go-live preparation to support a smooth and successful SAP rollout.

The LIM works closely with business leaders, process owners, and key users to ensure the organization is prepared for change, while promoting standardized SAP processes and sustainable business adoption.

The successful candidate will be accountable for local business readiness, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and post-go-live stabilization, helping to deliver a seamless digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Requirements & Process Alignment

• Gather, validate, challenge, and prioritize business requirements
• Ensure local operational, regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements are captured
• Promote SAP standard processes while managing approved local exceptions
• Coordinate business review and approval of future-state processes

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Serve as the primary business contact for the SAP programme
• Engage senior leaders, process owners, and key users to drive decisions and alignment
• Communicate programme impacts, milestones, dependencies, and required actions

Readiness Planning & Implementation Coordination

• Own and manage the business readiness plan.
• Ensure business resources are available for workshops, testing, training, and cutover activities.
• Track readiness milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables

Change Management & User Adoption

• Lead local change management and business engagement activities.
• Coordinate training participation and monitor user readiness.
• Address adoption challenges and support post-go-live process compliance

Data Readiness & Validation

• Coordinate business ownership of data cleansing and validation activities
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and business sign-off before migration
• Support migration readiness checkpoints and issue resolution

Testing & Business Acceptance

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness and execution
• Coordinate defect management, resolution tracking, and business sign-off
• Lead business cutover planning and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate go-live activities and business support resources.
• Support hypercare activities and transition to steady-state operations
• Proactively identify implementation risks and business impacts
• Escalate critical issues and decisions to leadership and programme governance
• Track mitigation plans and ensure accountability for resolution

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

• At least one full SAP rollout, from design to hypercare, as LIM, key user lead or functional consultant
• Previous experience as a Local Implementation Manager, SAP Functional Consultant, Key User Lead, Business Transformation Lead, or similar role
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP SD, SAP VSS, and SAP C4C processes is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of business operations, process improvement, and change management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Proven experience coordinating testing, training, data readiness, and operational transitions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field (Master's Degree is an advantage)
