Job summary

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lobby Ambassador for its Front Office team. You will welcome guests, guide them through the lobby, and ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience in a luxury setting.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will maintain a pristine lobby, greet guests, and support events while upholding the brand's Legendary Quality Experience. Previous luxury-hospitality experience and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume luxury hotel chain is required.
• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the Main Lobby and guest areas.
• Engage with guests and visitors, providing a warm welcome and farewell.
• Ensure lobby presence and assist guests to minimize congestion.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and organization.
• Attend training and briefings as required by management.
• Adhere to grooming, hygiene, and brand standards.

About the job

Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Front Office Department, the Lobby Ambassador is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Main Lobby, engaging with hotel guests and visitors, by providing a warm welcome and farewell, and offering guidance whilst performing in accordance to the Legendary Quality Experience and Brand Standards. The Lobby Ambassador reports to the Front Office Manager.

As aLobby Ambassador, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Has a complete knowledge of the Hotel, it’s services, facilities and geographical layout
• Is knowledgeable on all VIP Arrival, In-House and Departure Guests
• Remains up to date with Hotel Functions and Events
• Engages with all guests, in-house and visitors
• Always maintains lobby presence, ensuring all guests are greeted and assisted when applicable and ensuring limited congestion in the lobby
• Being proactive in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
• Handles any duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor or Manager
• Attends F.O. Briefings and Trainings required by Management and Learning & Development
• Reports for duty punctually with the appropriate uniform and respective name badge, strictly adhering to the Grooming and Hygiene Standards illustrated in the Hotel’s Look Book
• Strictly adheres to the Hotel’s Code of Conduct and Rules & Regulations

As aLobby Ambassador, weexpectfrom you:

• Previous experience in a high volume internationally recognized luxury hotel chain and a few years in a similar position is required
• Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality Management will be an advantage
• Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
