Job summary

Production Resource Group Llc (PRG) in the UAE is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead technical delivery for music, corporate, large-scale events and sports. The role combines client engagement with budget, logistics and on-site supervision to ensure high-quality, safe show production.

You will develop bids, manage technical proposals, coordinate with teams across lighting, rigging, video and audio, and ensure adherence to safety standards while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Proven track record in live events with audio, lighting, rigging and video.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Ability to prepare technical proposals against client specifications and budgets.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-production: Field enquiries, obtain briefs, and understand client requirements.
• Develop commercial responses and provide technical guidance, including specs and logistics.
• Manage technical delivery across lighting, rigging, video, audio, and scenic elements.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and on-site safety documents.
• Attend production and on-site meetings and manage cashflow, procurement, and variations.
• Book equipment and manage rentals using the company system; coordinate with Operations and HODs.
• Onsite: brief staff, supervise build/installation, ensure safety, and maintain client relations.
• Off-site: participate in weekly meetings, stay updated on policies, and maintain confidentiality.
