Job summary

JEX Personnel is recruiting a Litigation Lawyer in Abu Dhabi to represent clients in civil and commercial disputes before courts and arbitration panels. The role requires drafting pleadings, researching arguments, and developing case strategies in collaboration with senior lawyers.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of litigation experience, a UAE license to practice, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• LLB from a recognized university; Masters or litigation certification advantageous.
• Admission to practice law in the UAE, Abu Dhabi required.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in litigation.
• Fluency in English and Arabic essential.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and courtroom presence.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation before courts and arbitration panels in Abu Dhabi and UAE.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision.
• Develop case strategies, gather evidence, and prepare witnesses in collaboration with senior lawyers and clients.
• Provide clients with clear, practical legal advice and risk assessments to support their business objectives.
• Stay updated on local and international laws, regulations, and litigation trends relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of legal services and client satisfaction.
• Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality in all dealings.

• Strong knowledge of UAE civil and commercial litigation procedures and laws.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills, with a confident courtroom presence.
• Ability to analyse complex legal issues and develop effective case strategies.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential;
