Job summary

KJP Digital Solutions seeks an experienced Linux Systems Engineer for bare-metal, on-premise deployments in secure offline environments. You will provision physical servers, manage networked storage, and ensure seamless integration with client networks.

Key responsibilities include automating deployments, maintaining high-availability stacks, and collaborating with client teams to resolve onsite issues. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Linux systems engineering, on-premise infrastructure deployment or systems integration.
• Deep Linux administration and hands-on skills with bare-metal hardware and PXE booting.
• Experience with Ansible, Nginx, Redis, GlusterFS, and object storage (S3-compatible) in offline/air-gapped environments.

Responsibilities

• Provision and deploy physical Linux servers Ubuntu/RHEL in air-gapped data centers using Ansible.
• Deploy and optimize LAMP/LEMP stacks with Nginx, load balancing, and Redis caching.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Site amp Air-Gap Deployment Provision and launch physical Linux servers Ubuntu RHEL automated via Ansible within secure completely offline customer data centers
• HA Stack Management Deploy and optimize highly available LAMP LEMP stacks utilizing Nginx load balancing reverse proxy and Redis stateful caching atomic locking
• Storage Integration Configure and maintain enterprise storage layers handling both clustered filesystems GlusterFS and S3-compatible Object Storage
• Client Integration amp De-escalation Interface directly with client network teams to safely bridge our stack into their environment diplomatically managing on-site technical conflicts or policy disputes
• Documentation Create clean offline deployment guides dependency maps and runbooks for explicit client handoffs
• Travel Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
