Job summary

Jumeira Rotana in Dubai seeks a Linen Room Attendant cum Tailor to manage the linen room, including washing, ironing, folding, and storage of household linens, while adhering to hotel policies.

You will issue linen and uniforms to outlets and guests, coordinate with the Tailor for repairs, keep inventory records, and report maintenance needs in a fast-paced, multicultural hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Experience in housekeeping or linen room operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record and sort heavy stained linen before sending to Laundry.
• Receive, record and sort clean linen from Laundry and arrange on shelves.
• Issue linen to Food & Beverage outlets and guest floors as per requisition.
• Issue uniforms to all employees and maintain uniform records.
• Check uniforms returned from Laundry for loose buttons and hems and hand to Tailor for mending.
• Ensure linen and uniforms are stored and recorded properly.
• Report to Supervisor any items needing maintenance.
