Ounass in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, working closely with experienced culinary professionals.

Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will support your station, follow recipes, maintain safety standards and help ensure a consistent guest experience with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent quality.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control accurately.
• Clear communication and teamwork to support service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and service requirements.
• Set up and operate your kitchen station before, during and after service.
• Complete food preparation tasks including washing, cutting, marinating and portioning ingredients.
• Follow head chef guidance to ensure consistent dishes.
• Monitor times, temperatures and portions to maintain quality and minimise waste.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in all work areas.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries when required.
• Communicate with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.
