Job summary

J10 Consulting is seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor for a Tier 1 civil contracting client in Abu Dhabi to oversee lifting operations on a mid-rise residential project. You will manage crane operations, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team of riggers and operators on site.

You will develop lift plans, coordinate with site management and subcontractors, and maintain documentation and incident reporting to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Certification in lifting operations (e.g., Lifting Supervisor, Crane Operations Safety).
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of certified lifting supervision experience in construction.
• Extensive experience with cranes, hoisting equipment and rigging.
• Familiarity with UAE safety regulations for lifting operations.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, procedures and safety risk assessments.
• Strong leadership, training, and team motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and conduct risk assessments.
• Monitor condition and maintenance of lifting equipment and inspections.
• Lead and supervise riggers, crane operators and lifting staff.
• Develop and review detailed lift plans and configurations.
• Coordinate lifting with other site activities and managers.
• Report incidents, conduct investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain lifting documentation and permits as required.
• Provide regular status reports to project management.
