Archirodongroup in Abu Dhabi is seeking an ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor to lead all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards.

The role requires a Civil degree or equivalent, ADNOC lifting supervisor certification, and 5+ years in Oil & Gas with PTW system exposure. You will supervise riggers and crane operators, develop lift plans, and coordinate with site managers to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Civil or diploma or equivalent.
  • ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor certification (added advantage).
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Proven experience working inside ADNOC facilities with PTW system exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Ensure full health and safety regulation compliance and risk assessments.
  • Monitor lifting equipment maintenance and readiness for use.
  • Lead and supervise riggers, crane operators, and lifting personnel.
  • Develop, review, and approve detailed lifting plans and configurations.
  • Coordinate lifting with other site activities and stakeholders.
  • Document incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain lifting documentation, permits, and licenses per regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular status reports to the project manager.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to prevent accidents or incidents.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, slings, etc.), ensuring all machinery is fit for use, properly inspected, and serviced according to schedules.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel. Provide training and guidance on lifting procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment.
  • Lift Plans and Procedures: Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans, including the assessment of load weights, equipment requirements, and rigging configurations. Ensure all plans are approved before execution.
  • On-Site Coordination: Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project delivery. Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Document any lifting incidents or near-misses, conducting investigations as necessary. Develop corrective actions and ensure that safety protocols are revised accordingly.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all required lifting documentation (inspection records, permits, and licenses) are completed and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to the project manager on the status of lifting operations, highlighting any concerns, risks, or delays. Maintain clear and effective communication with the site team and stakeholders.
