Job summary

Al Sahraa Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to lead lifting operations on site, review lift plans, and coordinate crane teams. You will ensure safety compliance, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain lifting equipment while reporting to project managers.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus. A minimum of 5 years of lifting supervision experience in construction is expected, with strong leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lifting supervisor in construction.
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and techniques.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Salary : 3500 AED

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all lifting activities on site including reviewing lift plans and conducting site inspections
• Manage a team of crane operators riggers and other lifting personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of all lifting tasks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety among the lifting team
• Monitor and maintain lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of all lifting operations including lift plans risk assessments and incident reports
• Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on lifting operations and address any concerns or issues
• Train and mentor new lifting personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and implement new processes or procedures to enhance the efficiency and safety of lifting operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and techniques
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Valid lifting supervisor certification
• Fluent in English Arabic language skills are a plus.
