Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Regulatory Licensing Specialist to manage UAE DOH and DED licences for healthcare facilities and pharmacies. You will coordinate license renewals, new applications, and ownership or location changes, ensuring compliance with government portals.

The role requires 2-4 years of UAE regulatory licensing experience, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant UAE experience in regulatory licensing, government relations, or healthcare administration.
  • Hands-on experience with DOH and DED licensing procedures is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within the pharmacy, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical sector is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE government portals and licensing procedures.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, follow-up, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications and meet strict regulatory deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Manage the renewal of DOH healthcare facility licences and DED trade licences.
  • Process new licence applications, ownership changes, location changes, and licence amendments.
  • Coordinate DOH preliminary approvals for new pharmacies and healthcare facilities.
  • Manage Pharmacist-in-Charge and Controlled-in-Charge transfer applications.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required regulatory documents.
  • Monitor application progress and respond to queries raised by government authorities.
  • Maintain an accurate licensing calendar and ensure all renewals are completed before expiry.
  • Liaise with internal departments, legal representatives, consultants, and government entities.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and communicate any changes affecting the business.
  • Maintain complete electronic and physical records of licences, approvals, permits, and official correspondence.
  • Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
