Role Summary

The Licensing Officer – Healthcare coordinates the entire licensing journey for medical professionals across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the wider Gulf region. The role requires a solid understanding of DHA, DOH, MOHAP, QCHP, SCFHS, and DataFlow verification processes, coupled with strong client communication, organization, accuracy, and follow‑up skills.

Core Duties
  • Manage healthcare licensing applications for DHA, DOH, MOHAP, QCHP, SCFHS, and other Gulf regulatory authorities.
  • Review applicant qualifications, employment records, professional registrations, certificates, and supporting documents.
  • Assess initial eligibility based on the requirements of the relevant healthcare licensing authority.
  • Guide doctors and other healthcare professionals through licensing, credentialing, and examination procedures.
  • Explain DataFlow primary source verification requirements and assist applicants with document preparation.
  • Initiate communication with clients to obtain complete and accurate documentation within required timelines.
  • Verify that submitted documents meet authority‑specific formatting, validity, attestation, and translation requirements.
  • Prepare and submit licensing applications through the appropriate regulatory portals.
  • Monitor application progress, follow up on pending requirements, and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Coordinate licensing examinations, eligibility assessments, credentialing stages, and professional classification processes.
  • Respond to additional document requests, verification queries, application returns, and regulatory authority observations.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records for each licensing application.
  • Track application deadlines, license expiry dates, examination dates, and follow‑up actions.
  • Communicate with clients through professional, courteous, and timely channels.
  • Provide clear advice without making unsupported guarantees regarding licensing outcomes or processing times.
  • Coordinate internally with recruitment consultants and management regarding candidate licensing status.
  • Identify potential delays or documentation concerns and expedite them promptly.
  • Support license renewal, transfer, activation, and professional registration processes where applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal, professional, educational, and licensing information.
  • Ensure all application records and client communications are accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in service quality reviews and suggest improvements to licensing workflows.
  • Support the development of internal checklists, templates, trackers, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes in DHA, DOH, MOHAP, QCHP, SCFHS, and DataFlow requirements.
  • Contribute to a professional client experience throughout the licensing and credentialing process.
Ideal Profile
  • Previous experience managing healthcare licensing applications in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or the Gulf region.
  • Practical knowledge of DHA, DOH, MOHAP, QCHP, and SCFHS licensing processes.
  • Familiarity with DataFlow verification, credentialing, eligibility assessment, and examination requirements.
  • Strong understanding of document verification, professional classification, and regulatory application procedures.
  • Ability to review medical qualifications, experience certificates, licenses, good standing certificates, and related documents.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional and supportive approach.
  • Proactive personality with the ability to follow up consistently and resolve routine application issues.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive documents and online submissions.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to manage several applications, deadlines, and client communications simultaneously.
